Installation Instructions
To install IMD on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:
- Open imdweb.org in Safari.
- Sign in with your IMD username and password.
- Tap the Sharebutton in Safari's bottom bar — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Name it IMD and tap Add. The icon now sits on your home screen and opens full screen, with no address bar.

On iPhone and iPad, only Safari can add a site to the home screen. Chrome and Firefox on iOS will open imdweb.org perfectly well, but neither offers Add to Home Screen — so if you cannot find that option, check which browser you are in.
Do I still need LabRange or an activation code?
No. iOS used to need a separate shell app from the App Store and a generated activation code before you could sign in. That is no longer how iOS access works — imdweb.org and your IMD username and password are all you need. If you followed the older guide and have LabRange installed, you can simply use the web app instead.
On macOS, Android and Windows
macOS works the same way — open imdweb.org in Safari and choose File → Add to Dock. Android has a direct APK, and Windows runs the Android app through a simulator. The download page has the current steps for every platform.
